There is often a disconnect when it comes to living a healthy lifestyle; we know what’s good for our bodies, but we don’t always act accordingly. Sierra Medical Nutrition Therapy aims to mend the gap between knowing and doing, by catering to each individual's unique circumstances. Whether it is diabetes or weight management, managing a dietary condition, or developing a healthy relationship with food, we offer a variety of services designed to meet your needs.

What is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist?
We are healthcare providers who specialize in using food, lifestyle changes, and supplements to improve disease states. We hold a Bachelor of Science degree, must do a year-long medical internship, and take a board test to practice.
We are a small, women-owned business. As dietitians, we understand the challenges people face with changing nutritional habits for health, as we have struggled ourselves. We also understand that change can and does happen when you are in the "driver's seat." We are here to hear your story and collaborate with you to help you achieve your health goals.
As registered dietitians, we provide Medical Nutrition Therapy for a wide array for health conditions, such as high cholesterol, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, obesity, low BMI, eating disorders, kidney disease, diabetes, gastrointestinal health, women’s health, and much more!
We take a functional medicine approach to our practice. By looking at the whole person, and not just the disease or condition, we can address the root cause(s). Each consultation is individually tailored to the client's unique health goals and concerns.

"Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food."
